Application procedure in "eight" steps

• Regular Student:  International student who try  to obtain a high school, undergraduate  or graduate degree at ITESM Campus Laguna

• Exchange student:  Student who stays for a certain period of time (semester, year or summer) at ITESM Campus laguna, and who comes from a Partnership University paying tuition at his own University. 

• Independent student:  International students who stays for a certain period of time (semester,year or summer)  at ITESM Campus Laguna, who´s University does not have an agreement with us, participating as temporary students who pays his tuition at the Tec of Monterrey. 

• Rotary student: International students which participates at the Intercultural exchange program of the Rotary Club.

• Internship:  Exchange & independent students can be the only ones that can apply to this program. If you want to know more about this program please take a look at the Internship 

• Academic period:  All students can be in this program. We have High School, Undergraduate and Graduate Courses.  

• International Program:  We are offering Mexican Culture class. All students must take this course so they can get involved into the mexican social, political and cultural life.  

• Summer Program: All students can apply to this program. If you want to know more information about this program please take a look at the Summer program

• Volunteer Social Work Program: Exchange & independent students can participate in this program, they need to work at least 100 hours per semester  and  make an international admission payment. For regular students as for ITESM students it is obligatory to take this program.  

• Exchange students only: This application form must be mail directly from your Study Abroad Advisor. If you are sending a paper application form it must be signed by your Study Abroad Advisor under section “Authorization"

Once we received the complete application form with the required documents,  we would send you the Acceptance Letter and some basic information about the ITESM Campus Laguna. 

• Exchange students only: This acceptance letter would  be mail directly to your Study Abroad Advisor. Please ask them.

• Rotary students only:  This acceptance letter  must be ask by your First Host Family directly at our International Office 

All students who are coming for a period longer than 3 months must obtain  the student visa (FM3) before arrival. Once you have it, send a fax to the International Office at Campus laguna that shows the visa where the  photograph appears. Each citizenship is a different process, please check the website Student Visa  or the Student Handbook

We offer  you different kinds of lodging. Because it is difficult to obtain a place to live at Torreón  the International Office at Campus Laguna gives you that service. There is a Housing fee of $50 USD paid upon arrival,  the option "I will obtain my own housing" it is not available for students that is their first time at Torreón. More information:Housing  

• Rotary students only:  Your housing depends on the Rotary Club. 

• Evidence of the International Health insurance with coverage in Mexico. A copy of the policy or your insurance card will suffice. Please look the requirements at the website: Medical Insurance

• Student visa (FM3) and current passport.

• Independent & regular students: a payment for International admission fee $100 USD

• Rotary students: a payment for International admission fee $100 USD each semester. 

Note: All students who wants to be picked up at the airport or bus station please send us your arrival schedule  by e-mail  as soon as you can.
